Abstract
Control of a photovoltaic converter connected to a single-phase grid requires synchronization with the fundamental component of the voltage. This is performed by the Park transformation of the measured voltage to a rotating orthogonal xy frame. This transformation in single-phase systems requires quadrature signals. The paper proposes that a quadrature generator replace the standard second-order generalized integrator
