Abstract
Bone-anchored hearing aids are an established means of managing both single-sided and bilateral conductive or mixed hearing loss. Magnetic bone conduction hearing implants have been designed to provide an alternative bone conduction system to the existing aids which couple to a traditional percutaneous abutment. The BAHA® Attract (Cochlear Bone Anchored Solutions AB. Molnlycke, Sweden) system, which has been reviewed, uses an osseointegrated titanium implant coupled to an implantable magnet.
