Abstract
Vaccination coverage for young children fell last year in 13 out of 14 routine programmes across the UK, new data have shown. The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) urged parents and guardians to ensure their children are up to date with all their routine childhood immunisations, warning that children faced serious health risks from missing them. In 2021-22 no vaccinations met the 95% target set by the World Health Organization. The latest statistics1 by UKHSA and NHS Digital for UK children up to 5 years of age show that in 2021-22:
