Abstract

This research is motivated by the problems of social interaction that occur in students. Social interaction has a crucial role in the self-development of students, especially in the field of education, because social interaction is a person's first step in fulfilling all his life needs. Every student must have good social interactions in order to be able to develop all the potential that exists within him. Therefore, it is necessary to measure social interaction in the form of a social interaction questionnaire that has passed the validity and reliability test stages. The subjects of this study were students of class VII SMP Negeri 2 Pasirkuda, totaling 50 students. The results of the validity test of the 50 statement items contained 25statement items that were declared valid and the reliability test got a value of 0.743which means it is included in the high category. Thus the social interaction questionnaire can be used to measure the level of social interaction of students.
