Abstract
Data obtained by the Buckland Park EAS array have previously been analysed to search for evidence for UHE gamma-rays. Observations of Vela X-l and LMC X-4 have been reported and a tentative observation of an excess of events from the direction of Centaurus A has been discussed. Additionally, we have reported upper limits to the UHE gamma-ray flux from other possible point sources and examined limits to the total excess flux of UHE gamma-rays from the southern galactic plane. These 1979–81 data were obtained using an earlier array configuration and since then the array has been progressively developed for UHE gamma-ray work by reducing its size/energy threshold and improving its angular resolution.
