Abstract
The inhibitor of UDPG-glycogen transglucosylase reported earlier to occur in crustacean eyestalks is shown to be uridine-diphosphate (UDP). UDP is shown to be secreted internally, and to participate in the regulation of carbohydrate metabolism in crustaceans.
