Abstract
Over the past years we have been witnessing far-reaching changes in the broadly understood sphere of cultural participation, resulting for example from the modern technology development. There still exist, however, ”traditional” cultural institutions on the cultural horizon (cinemas, theatres, museums, etc.), although their role and significance are changing. The article discusses the most recent edition of the survey of cultural participation, carried out in 2010. The first part presents general results of the survey, while the second one focuses on correlates of cultural participation. The most interesting relations between participation and a number of social and demographic variables are highlighted.
