Abstract1.4‐Benzochinone (1, 2, 5) oder deren Hydrochinone (3, 4, 6) lassen sich mit den Bromiden der isoprenoiden Alkohole 7 und 8 in Petroläther unter der Einwirkung von Zinkamalgam oder Palladium zu den isoprenoiden Chinonen 9–14 kondensieren. Der Kondensationsmechanismus wird diskutiert.
