Abstract
The article is a detailed analysis of the relations between the United States and Turkey in the 21st century. It analyzes the countries' relations within the «Greater Middle East» project in the context of the US invasion of Afghanistan, Iraq and also the countries' involvement in the Syrian conflict. The complex relationship between the US and Turkey, especially during the rule of the Justice and Development Party, and how this affects their politics and international dynamics were also touched upon.
