Abstract

In an unprecedented move, the U.S. surgeon general's office issued a new advisory calling for a swift, coordinated response to address the children's mental health crisis amid COVID‐19. The advisory follows a recent declaration of a national mental health emergency for children and teens by three leading health organizations.
