Abstract
This article provides on update of the development and implementation of the United States Federal Aviation Administration WAAS and LAAS. It also addresses FAA efforts to implement these satellite navigation technologies into the U.S. National Airspace System, as well as Satellite Based Augmentation System interoperability efforts between the FAA and other worldwide CAAs.
