Abstract

Boson-fermion symmetries and supersymmetries associated with the U(5)*SU(2) limits in the interacting boson fermion model with /b j /=/sup 3///sub 2/, /sup 5///sub 2/ and /b j/= /sup 1///sub 2/, /sup 3///sub 2/, /sup 5///sub 2/ are developed in detail. Their relevance for the description of the available experimental data on the low-energy spectra of the nuclei /sup 76/Se and /sup 75/As is examined.
