Typology of Interior Architecture of Residential Spaces in the Pahlavi Period of Tehran

Abstract

Tehran is a large city that has many valuable houses, but due to the change of lifestyle in a big city like Tehran, which is an industrial city with a plan of development and many migrations from around to this city, the valuable historical context of the city during Time has changed. Therefore, the need to introduce and recognize houses in Tehran as a city that has been the capital of many historical periods, is essential. In this article, we have tried to provide typology and classification of houses. The history of Tehran should be examined. In this study, by carefully examining the concepts of typology and housing based on documents, the history of habitation and the characteristics of the past residential architectural textures of the historical core of Tehran have been investigated, Spatial arrangement, accesses and circulation, Spatial shape analysis, to be studied according to the climate of Tehran. Study of interior spaces of the Pahlavi period that are affected by time conditions and changes due to changes in Iranian architecture under the influence of Western architecture and structural change the social and cultural community is important to this research.
