Abstract

The aim of the article is to develop a system of the typological features of the Italian Renaissance.Research methodology. The research methods are due to the need to reveal the topic of interest. Among them: — the historical and typological involved in establishing the typological features of Renaissance; the paradigm used to establish a model system at all stages of Renaissance; Cultural suggestion due to the fact that the music Renaissance takes on the background of the general features of artistic culture of the time; dialectical is used to establish the typological features as a multifaceted and controversial artistic reality.Results Based on the analysis of the formation of the artistic thinking of the Italian Renaissance era, the study reveals the typological features of Renaissance era, which include: a change in social thought and world perception; cyclicity as a principle of historical and artistic process development; an imitation of ancient traditions that are significant for the national consciousness; a competition and reliance on the model; anthropocentrism (the formation of a creative personality, individualism, freedom of a person, people, patriotism, statehood); the renewal of religiosity; a system of ideals; a system of symbols; an opposition system; the development of science, culture, art.The novelty of the study is the further study of the Italian Renaissance. In particular, the classification of scientific interpretations of the Italian Renaissance is given, i.e. a system of typological features of the Italian Renaissance. In order to identify common and distinctive features of Renaissance in different national cultures at different time lines, a system of benchmarking criteria has been developed.The practical significance. The practical value of the study is the possibility of using the obtained results in the training courses “History of World Culture”, “History of World Music” at music colleges. Along with this, the practical significance of the results of the study is in the prospect of the widespread use in further studies in musicology.
