Abstract
Analysis of the type collections of six binomials and one trinomial has led to selection of a neotype for Crinum brachynema and lectotypes for Crinum humile, Crinum stenophyllum, Crinum stracheyi, Crinum wattii and Crinum woodrowii. For C. woodrowii an epitype is also designated. Crinum eleonorae and C. eleonorae f. purpureum are conspecific to Crinum brachynema.
