Abstract

In the computation of picture patterns in formal language theory, tile pasting system has played a vital role. Tile pasting p system and their variants are the methods used to generate tiling patterns, picture languages and tessellations. In this paper types of triangular tile pasting system called extended triangular tile pasting system (ETTPS) and k-table extended triangular tile pasting system (K-table ETTPS) are defined with suitable examples. It also introduces extended triangular tile pasting P system and parametric triangular tile pasting P system to generate triangular picture languages. Parametric triangular tile pasting P system is a syntactic method to generate tile patterns and picture languages. The most interesting study in this work is generating the language digitized right angled triangles with holes by the pasting rules of triangular tile pasting P system. And the computational powers of parametric and extended triangular tile pasting P systems are examined with the generating power of triangular tile pasting P system.
