Abstract
Types of metamorphosis and astogeny in Hippopodina feegeensis (Busk) are described. The larva metamorphoses into either an ancestrula, or into a three-cell zoarium. In the first case the ancestrula gives rise to two zooids in proximo-lateral positions. The zooids develop one after the other or simultaneously.
