Abstract

This paper proposes a circuit configuration for realizing a type 1 mutator using a current conveyor, a buffer and a network with a suitable voltage transfer function. The advantage of the proposed circuit configuration is that any impedance functions which are inversely proportional to the realizable voltage transfer function can be simulated. As applications, simulations of an inductance, a frequency-dependent negative resistance, and ah equalizer type immittance are shown with experimental results.
