Abstract

AbstractThe complications that occur after use of split‐thickness and full‐thickness postauricular skin for tympanic grafts are discussed and the results stated. The use of the vein graft, the combination of canal skin and vein grafts, and vein graft stapediopexy are discussed, and the improved results with these measures are noted. Attention is called to the difficulties in complete reporting of any subject as complex as tympanoplasty.
