Abstract

Tylencholaimellus eskei n. sp. was collected from soil around roots of Shorea robusta Gaertn., in Gorakhpur District, India. It is characterized by having a small and slender body (0.53-0.60 mm long), an offset lip region, spear and extension together measuring less than two head widths long, vulva located at 33-37 per cent, and a conoid-rounded tail. An elaborate and up-to-date key to the species of Tylencholaimellus is provided.
