Abstract
We investigate the low-energy behaviour of the partial-wave Jost function for two-dimensional potential scattering, and thence obtain the contributions to Levinson's theorem from zero-energy states. The s-wave Jost function diverges logarithmically at low energies, except that it tends to a non-zero constant for zero-energy resonances.
