Abstract

The split step method was used to model plane wave optical propagation in a turbulent atmosphere for inner scales of turbulence of 0 and 5.1 mm. The intensity scintillation index was derived from the random field along the propagation path. The propagation parameters cover weak scattering and strong scattering conditions. >
