Abstract

Summary
Two-dimensional materials have unique mechanical, electrical, and optical properties that differ from bulk materials owing to their atomic thinness. These outstanding characteristics enable the production of flexible electronic devices that require high mechanical strength. Thus, flexible electronic devices have been developed using two-dimensional materials over the past decade. In this perspective, we present the recent development in the field of 2D material-based flexible electronic and optoelectronic applications, including various wearable displays and sensors. In addition, opportunities, challenges, potential solutions, and future development directions related to this area are discussed.
