Abstract

By developing the 6-operator analog of the Roesser model, state-space realization of two- and multi-dimensional /spl delta/-systems is investigated. The corresponding notions of gramians and balanced realization are also designed. It is shown that, discrete-time system implementation using this model can yield superior coefficient sensitivity properties.
