Abstract

This paper presents a lead phase iterative learning control (ILC) scheme along time axis using two-band filter with time window to restrain periodic force ripples of permanent magnet linear synchronous motor (PMLSM). The purpose of introducing low-pass filter is to made accumulation of random noises to be decreased along the iteration axis, and to utilize the enhanced robustness given by two low bandwidth filter, while taking advantage of the superior properties of a high bandwidth Q-filter where needed. Time window problem is modified such that performance is only improved during the time intervals in a trial where the repetitive disturbances dominate the non-repetitive disturbances. The proposed lead phase ILC strategy was combined with time window and two-band filter. The real time result shows that position precision of PMLSM in point-to-point motion can be effectively improved with this scheme.
