Abstract

This letter considers the non-orthogonal multiple access technique for the uplink random access (RA) of 5G networks. Upon RA, users make use of the channel inversion , such that their received power at the base station (BS) can be one of two possible values. The BS can decode them with successive interference cancellation. This letter investigates this system by using two-user non-cooperative games and shows the achievable (expected) payoff region with mixed-strategy Nash equilibrium points and correlated equilibria.
