Abstract

The paper is devoted to an application of the immune algorithm and the finite element method for generation of 3D structures using two different types of parameteriza- tion and comparing the final results. The shape, topology and material of the structure are generated for optimization criterion like minimum of the mass of the structure. Two differ- ent interpolation functions like: multinomial interpolation and interpolation based on the neighbourhood of elements are used. The purpose of these procedures is appropriate selec- tion of mass densities.
