Abstract
In this paper we take a sinusoidal function as a seed, using Bäcklund transformation, to derive a new solution to the lattice modified Korteweg–de Vries (mKdV) equation. The obtained solution has an expression in terms of trigonometric functions. By taking continuum limits we get corresponding solutions to the semi-discrete and continuous mKdV equations.
