Abstract

Levels of even Te isotopes ( A = 122–126) have been studied in Sn(α, 2n) reactions. From intensity, angular distributions and excitation function measurements, members of the evenparity band up to 10 + are assigned. The negative-parity states 5 − and 7 − interpreted to have configurations ( h 11 2 , s 1 2 ) and ( h 11 2 , d 3 2 ) are also observed. The assignments in 124Te are supported by γ-γ coincidence measurement. The level structure of high-spin states in doubly even Te ( A = 114–134) are discussed.
