Abstract
A method of studying two-proton radioactivity is offered. The method is based on the similarity of the problem with nucleon pairing in spherically symmetrical nuclei. The method is applied to the case when the quasi-stationary one-proton level has no orbital angular momentum. The total probability of the decay per unit time and the distribution of the emitted protons in directions and relative energies are obtained.
