Abstract

Cancer Immunotherapy In article number 2103056, Hexiang Deng, Zhi-Jun Sun, and co-workers utilize a covalent organic framework with excellent two-photon absorption (2PA) property as a novel approach to generate photosensitizers for efficient cancer immunotherapy. This is attributed to their high ROS generation capability, which could further induce robust immunogenic cell death and boost antitumor immunity. This work describes a new approach for synergizing photodynamic therapy with immune checkpoint blockade therapy by using 2PA covalent organic frameworks.
