Abstract

We present a topological chiral two-phase model for baryons with isoscalar vector meson stabilizing term in the soliton sector instead of the usual Skyrme stabilizing term and compare with a closely related model where the omega meson has been eliminated in the limit of infinite mass and coupling constant. In both cases the static properties come out well and the energy is insensitive to changes in the bag radius, as in other nonperturbative two-phase models.
