Abstract

In this paper, two-phase inverse Stefan problem are investigated using the method of heat polynomials. The approximate solution of the problem is presented in the form of linear combination of heat polynomials. We present numerical results illustrating an application of the heat polynomials method for typical benchmark test examples. Due to ill-posedness of the problem, the regularization will be taken into account. Numerical results are discussed and compared with results obtained by another method.
