Abstract
Catalytic properties of mechanical oxide mixtures : Sb 2O 4 + MoO 3 and TiO 2 + V 2 O 5 have been studied in two reactions : N-ethyl formamide dehydration and isobutylene oxidation. An interpretation of the results obtained is proposed on the basis of the remote control concept and an hypothesis about the junction between two cooperating phases.
