Abstract

The computational–theoretical and experimental works on the characteristics of particle-laden boundary gas flows are reviewed. The features of particle motion in laminar and turbulent boundary flows and their feedback on the gas flow are considered. The available studies of the stability of the laminar boundary layer and the effect of particles on the laminar-to-turbulent transition are analyzed.
