Abstract
The structures of two new ten-membered ring compounds, 3,4,5,8,9,10-hexamethyl-1,2,5,8-dithiadiazecine-6,7(5H,8H)-dione (I) and 11,14-dimethyldibenzo[c,i][1,2,5,8]dithiadiazecine-12-13(11H,14H)-dione (II), have been determined. The two ten-membered rings, exhibiting asymmetric conformation, are almost identical. The disulfide bond lengths are 2.058 (1) and 2.053 (1) A for (I) and (II), respectively
