Abstract
Abstract From the ether extract of the liverwort Porella acutifolia subsp. tosana , two new pinguisane-type and two novel Diels-Alder reaction-type dimeric pinguisane sesquiterpenoids have been isolated. Their absolute structures were determined by a combination of 2D-NMR and CD spectra, X-ray crystallographic analysis, modified Mosher's method, and chemical degradation.
