Abstract

Two rare steppe species, Ceratoxanthis rakosyella Wieser et Huemer, 2000 and Thiodia irinae Budashkin, 1990, are reported for the first time from Bulgaria. They are found in endangered habitats in Northern Bulgaria. The species demonstrate peculiar genital morphology, which is discussed and illustrated. The moths, their habitats in Bulgaria and distribution are illustrated as well.
