Abstract Two new species of Americanura (Collembola: Neanuridae) from Belize are described and illustrated, A. belicensis sp. nov. and A. denisi sp. nov. Americanura belicensis sp. nov. has long barbulate setae and the dorso-internal tubercles chaetotaxy formula 033/2222, whereas A. denisi sp. nov. has short and less barbulate setae, and with a reduced chaetotaxy formula of dorso-internal tubercles of 011/1111.
