Abstract
Two new species, Spadicoides bacilliformis and Gangliostilbe yunnanensis on dead branches of Aphanamixis polystachya and Pistacia chinensis, respectively, from tropical and subtropical forests in southern China, are described and illustrated. Spadicoides bacilliformis is distinguished by polytretic conidiogenous cells and bacilliform, 3-euseptate, concolorous conidia. Gangliostilbe yunnanensis is characterized by synnematous conidiophores with monoblastic conidiogenous cells producing obovoid to ellipsoidal, 6- or 7-distoseptate conidia. Keys to Spadicoides and Gangliostilbe species are provided.
