Abstract
Abstract The present paper reports two new blackfly species, Simulium (Gomphostilbia) fanjingshanense sp. nov. and Simulium (Gomphostilbia) mengi sp. nov. of the genus Simulium Latreille. The descriptions are based on the female and male, pupae and larvae specimens collected from Fanjing Mountain, Guizhou Province, China. The specimens are currently stored in the Department of Biology, Guiyang Medical College.
