Abstract

Odontacarus kromani , n. sp. off Neotoma lepida from Imperial Co., California, (types) and off Peromyscus crinitus from Baja California Norte, Mexico, and O. villosus , n. sp. off Peromyscus boylii from Plumas Co., California are described. Roth species have 2 setae on coxa II and O. villosus has 4–7 setae on coxa I.
