Abstract

Two new species, Burmopsychops isodiametrus sp. nov. and Burmopsychops shihi sp. nov., are described from the Upper Cretaceous of northern Myanmar. The new species are assigned to the genus Burmopsychops Lu, Zhang & Liu, 2016 for sharing characters of the sexual dimorphism antenna, paired ectoproct, nygma absent and RP1 independently originated from R. B. isodiametrus sp. nov. is remarkable by RP with six branches, several costal crossveins present on forewing. And B. shihi sp. nov. is characterized by RP with eight branches, dark spots present on the medial of wing, tergum 9 margin with internal teeth.
