Abstractmagnified imageTwo new Securinega alkaloids, 2‐episecurinol A (1) and 8‐(diethylamino)‐2‐episecurinol A (2), together with the five known related analogues 3–7, were isolated from Securinega suffruticosa (Pall.) Rehd. Their structures were determined by detailed analysis of 1D‐ and 2D‐NMR spectra and by comparison with the related model compounds.
