Abstract

• Compounds 1 and 3 were isolated from the Psoralea corylifolia at first time. • Compounds 1 and 3 displayed a high selectivity for inhibitory activity DGAT1. • This article is useful for treatment of diseases related to DGAT1. Two new meroterpenes, 7 β , 13 β- Psoracorylifol B ( 1 ) and 7 β , 8 α- Psoracorylifol D ( 3 ) together with eight known compounds ( 2 , 4 - 10 ) were isolated from the seeds of Psoralea corylifolia L . They were identified by a series of spectroscopic methods to determine their structures and all the compounds were evaluated for in vitro inhibitory activity against DGAT1/2. Among them, compounds 1 - 5 and 10 showed moderate inhibitory activity against DGAT1 with IC 50 values ranging from 67.1 ± 1.3–130.4 ± 1.2 μM, compounds 1 - 2 showed weak inhibitory activity against DGAT2 with IC 50 values 132.9 ± 1.1 and 134.2 ± 1.2 μM.
