Abstract

Two new flavanonol glycosides named chrysandrosides A and B were isolated from the roots of Gordonia chrysandra Cowan. Their structures were determined by 1D and 2D NMR, FAB-MS techniques and chemical methods. Chrysandrosides A and B showed pronounced hepatoprotective activities against d-galactosamine ( d-GalN)-induced toxicity in rat hepatic epithelial stem-like cells (WB-F344).
