Abstract

The new combinations Anodendron parviflorum (Roxb.) I.M. Turner and Motandra paniculata (Poir.) I.M. Turner are made. The former replaces Anodendron paniculatum A.DC. as the correct name for a widespread species from tropical Asia. The latter replaces Motandra guineensis (Thonn.) A.DC. as the correct name for a species found in West and Central Africa. A second-step lectotypification of Echites guineensis Thonn. is proposed.
