Abstract

Two new genera and species of cave-dwelling carabid trechines are described and illustrated from China. Luoxiaotrechus deuvein. gen., n.sp. occurs in a limestone cave called Haitang Dong in eastern You Xian ( = County) of eastern Hunan Province, not far from the border with Jiangxi Province. Luoxiaotrechusn. gen. is morphologically close to Qianaphaenops Ueno, 2000. Sidublemus solidusn. gen., n. sp. lives in a limestone cave called Bidongfeiyan in southwestern of Guidong Xian, southeastern Hunan. This new genus seems to be morphologically close to Microblemus Ueno, 2007, or Cimmeritodes Deuve, 1996 and Sinocimmerites Deuve, 2007.http://zoobank.org/urn:lsid:zoobank.org:pub:90A431B8-6B46-4DB6-9F0B-9D4DA09198F3
