Abstract

Abstract In the paper a effective two-level computational structure is developed for optimal state estimation in large-scale interconnected dynamical systems. The main feature of the considered design problem is to find such optimal policy which allows to reduce the calculation difficulties on the lower level in order to apply the obtained algorithms to microcomputers. It is shown that a desirable calculation simplification effect may be obtained by the adaptation of the overall performance functional in specially constructed equivalent hierarchical optimization problem
