Abstract

The 2 × 1 Multi-slotted Microstrip patch antenna (MPA) has been designed using multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) techniques. It has dual band which resonates at 3.6 GHz and 4.5 GHz. The reported 2-element antenna is designed using CST tool. The value of ECC is achieved 0.00011 and 0.00036 at 3.5 and 4.5 GHz frequency. The ECC is below 0.03 in the whole band. The return loss at 3.6 and 4.5 GHz has −19 dB and −44 dB respectively. The isolation is ≥15 dB in both frequency band is achieved successfully. Minimum 60 MHz bandwidth is achieved with good radiation characteristics.
